Once upon a time there were two very poor students. Let's call them Scott and Sarah. They saved up their pennies and decided to splurge on a Redbox DVD. They carefully selected Alice in Wonderland at their neighborhood 7 Eleven and walked home.

When they arrived, they set up their monster laptop with the movie-- as the television was already boxed in anticipation for their move to Wisconsin.

About halfway through Alice in Wonderland, their DVD stopped working. It had given them trouble but this time it stopped completely. They were not thrilled. Their $1 was not well spent. So, as any true cheapskate would do, they called Redbox to complain. We're pretty sure that only one person works in Redbox's customer service department because in the time it took Scott to talk to someone (although they assured us our call was "very important to them") Sarah had enough time to put in a load of laundry and move it to the dryer. Scott was not pleased. Not pleased at all.

However, after explaining our predicament to the kind woman who finally answered the phone, she promised to remove the broken DVD from the Redbox system and gave us credit for not one, but TWO FREE REDBOX rentals! We were thrilled. From us and the rest of the starving students in the world, thank you Redbox.
