The Many Faces of Homework

When asked, Sarah often says, "Homework? What's that?" When her fake e-mails about school being canceled fail, she often denies the knowledge of any homework assignment. Following this attempt, if I ever bring up the topic I immediately receive the following face.


So, in an attempt to get her to focus she went to study alone in the back. I made her promise to stay back there until she was done. After about 30 minutes I got bored and came back to see how it was going. She was so excited to see me come to rescue her from homework!


Sadly, I was not there for that purpose. And you can see how she reacted.

In attempt to help her out I snuck out to the store and got everything for a hot fudge Sunday with extra banana just as she loves. I think she forgave me.
