Remember
this day? Well this picture was taken around 8 or 9 at night. Around 1:30 AM I woke up because my muscles were cramping. Big time. As in I couldn't hardly move it hurt so bad. It had been moderate for a day or two, but I didn't think too much of it. I cramp pretty often.

Anyhow, life had a fun surprise for us.

Mind you this is the middle of the night. I believe Scott's wake up went something like
Sarah: "um... Scott? Can you wake up for a second?"
Scott: *groggy grog grog grog*
Sarah: "You might want to turn on the light."
Anyhow. I handed Scott the pregnancy test. It was a very good surprise.
Here is our little bugger. Expected to arrive on Halloween 2011. Scott is hoping we end up going to 41.5 weeks so we can have our baby born on 11/11/11. We will see. I have a feeling I will be so anxious to not have a giant baby inside of me that I won't last that long.

Our baby came to Disneyland. Which meant that Scott was super picky about what rides I was allowed to go on. I think future doctors might know a little too much about everything that can go wrong in pregnancies. We spent most of the day trying to find a onesie that said: "I went to Disneyland for the first time as a fetus and made it so my mom couldn't go on any good rides." We couldn't find one.

And finally, we leave you with an updated family photo.
I love your family picture, hahaha
ReplyDeleteI am so so excited for you guys!! Surprise pregnancies are the best :)
Also, I laughed about the towel. You can tell Scott that so he knows other people like your note :)
That was an excellent family photo.
ReplyDeleteAnd Im very sorry Scott knows so much about pregnancies and insisted on protecting your little peanut from the big bad rides... but am glad you got to at least have cotton candy. :)
I miss you lots!
Haha I love the "updated family photo". Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteAh! I'm so excited for you guys! Surprise babies are the most fun. ;)
ReplyDeleteTechnically our baby was not a "surprise". At least not to us. We were hoping for a baby. We just didn't know when it would happen.
ReplyDeletecongratulations!!! that is so exciting! don't worry- husbands don't let you do anything when you are pregnant so you are just going to have to get used to it!!! Thank goodness its because they care about the baby right! Have fun being pregnant- the upside with husbands is they take care of you SO WELL! so enjoy these months thoroughly! halloween is quite a fun due date!
