Gangster Jane

Jane is just beginning to get some control over her limbs. This means that when her hand gets caught in her binky and pulls it out, she actually makes effort to move it back toward her mouth. We are incredibly impressed and think that our baby is incredibly smart. This sort of feat from a person would only impress brand new parents and the Schiavo family. But since we are new parents, we are allowed to shout how amazing our child is from the rooftops. Rooftops being the cyber world in which our blog lives. of course.

Anyhow, Jane likes to move her legs. Like a lot. We will lay her down on a blanket and she will just kick and kick. The trouble is that our baby (like her mama) has no hips so her pants will slowly slide off until they are hanging mid-thigh. While this is actually the style in our Milwaukee neighborhood, Jane isn't too crazy about it. She will fuss until we pull her pants back up because her legs are cold.
But she's not so scrawny, check out this picture Hanna took of Jane.

  1. I love reading the blogs you post of Jane! She is so adorable! Our little Roger seems to be right behind her (which makes sense since he was born a couple weeks later). He's just started smiling like crazy. I'm looking forward to seeing the limb control begin. :)
