Of course we have to check out the chicken spits... I don't know what they put on this chicken, but it is seriously delicious.

We were feeling wild this year and instead of conquering a whole chicken we opted to try the gyros.

Jane was a HUGE fan and literally ate half of one. She is starting to get really opinionated and kept adding more dressing on the gyro with her fork. It didn't surprise me, Jane adores strong flavors.
Also, excuse how sweaty I am. It was gorgeous outside so I convinced Scott to walk with me there (hence the work-out gear).

Scott also approved of the gyro.

During dinner there was Greek dancing...

I have never seen Jane so mesmerized. She watched the entire performance (which was probably 30-40min long). I didn't know what to do with myself, usually she doesn't hold still.

The only time she wasn't completely mesmerized was when she was trying to mimic every dance move they made. Jane and her buddy Chloe had a hilariously good time and Katie and I just watched our own private performance from the girls.

Checking out the window with her buddy.

In other news...
Jane insists on eating her breakfast with friends in the morning. She even stops eating her cereal to make sure every animal is fed (aka has Kix shoved at their mouths while she makes chewing noises).

Jane still loves tortillas and cafe rio (our favorite knock off found here)

I am 32 Weeks today and proving truly gigantic. We have gone swimming several times in the last couple of weeks because I love having the weight off my back.
Scott has been a total trooper and has been husband-father extraordinaire the last few weeks (he always is, but especially so lately). He plays with Jane (who is back to full on Daddy-worship again) when I'm tired, cooks dinner when I'm nauseated, doesn't complain when I don't eat it because I'm sick, helps get Jane ready for bed, then rubs my back or feet before I go to bed. He's basically the greatest and I've been blown away by his complete generosity. I think he's a keeper.
Fun fact: Peanut is obsessed with my belly button. Ever since she was a teeny tiny fetus she would play with my belly button, putting her feet in it or poking it. Now she is getting bigger and it's crazy how far out my belly button goes. The only place I have stretch marks (almost) this time around is around my belly button because Peanut likes to push on it so much. Scott loves to poke it ever so slightly and watch Peanut get all territorial and leap all over inside of me. It's super entertaining but also getting kind of painful since she is getting really strong now.
Obvious conclusion based on this post: you need to become Greek. Work on that, will ya?
