--Chocolate. I was trying to cook dinner and she kept pestering me to get her chocolate, when I told her no since dinner was almost ready and she had eaten a ton that day, she took matters into her own hands. Next thing I knew she had pulled out the bag of chocolate chips, dumped out a bunch for herself, wrapped up the bag, and carefully put it away in the pantry.

--Lotion. She will hunt down lotion anywhere in the house and lather herself up.

--Hats. She is still quite attached to her "hat" from the doctor and she ADORES Scott's new hat.

--Friends. Baby Emily (who is a whopping 2 weeks old!) came over to play and Jane promptly brought her a dress up tutu. Emily was very sweet and obliged. Jane was pleased.

-- Daddy. Jane is always wanting to be with her Daddy lately. She was pretty attached to Mom all last week, so it was nice to have her switch to her Daddy this weekend.

Jane's hair has gotten a ton lighter already! She also has killer tan lines, poor kid. Summer here we come!

My favorite things include:
--When Scott BBQs (you can guess which piece of meat belongs to who)

-- This man. Who recently purchased a hunting bow. He is beyond himself excited.

We're still pretty fond of this kid.

I'm pretty fond of sleeping. Not ideal timing considering Jane has recently decided sleeping is overrated (Sorry, Pugh's!)

--Growing incredibly large. Oh wait, take this one off my favorites list and put it on "random updates". I've finally reached that point in pregnancy where I REALLY miss being in control of my body. I love feeling Peanut wiggle around and grow but it would be nice without the nausea, migraines, stomach aches, lack of appetite/ferocious appetite, sciatica, hip pain, dizziness/vertigo, etc. I'm basically having all of my pregnancy symptoms reoccur all at once. Even the acne is back, SCORE. BUT the bleeding is not, so we are forever grateful and pray daily that this little girl will stay inside until she is at least 37 weeks.

Just for fun, here is a comparison of Jane and Peanut.

I'm basically exactly the same except carrying lower (which I didn't think was possible).
Jane has had just enough of a cold the last two Sundays to keep her out of nursery. But since we are in Primary, I needed to go teach. Scott was in charge of dressing Jane and doing her hair yesterday. I was pretty impressed.
You're adorable, your daughter is adorable, and I CANNOT WAIT to see you next week. Thank you for the update!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love how smart Janie is. Way to take matters into your own hands with the chocolate, Jane!
