Jane's Blessing
We blessed our Jane at Scott's home ward on January 1st, 2012 in Thousand Oaks. Scott blessed her and it was beautiful. What a great way to start the new year!
I apologize in advance that we only have a handful of photos. I was VERY sick this day.
Jake, Sid, Phil, and Amy (looking gorgeous, as usual).

Katie and Jason came out especially for Jane's blessing. It was sooo good to see them!

Things that make me happy: Cali edition
Well, actually this was almost a sad one. Jane almost tried to stay behind in California with Grandma Janet. Grandma Janet let her have a queen bed to herself and Jane thought it was the greatest thing ever.
Jake waving for about 40 minutes straight when his beloved cousins were leaving. It was sad, but very cute.
Every morning when Jane wakes up she gets super excited to see me. It seriously makes my day. each and every day.
Sid holding his baby.
Jane playing the baby Jesus. She actually fussed all day on Christmas Eve (she had a little cold), but I kept reminding her that the baby Jesus didn't cry, so she would have to be happy then. She was. A Christmas miracle, indeed.
Grandpa and Jenna.

Janie was totally sold on Jenna (aren't we all?)
Jane having some tummy time.
Just being cute.
Christmas pajamas.
Sadie and her favorite being in the whole world: Ruby.

Food!
Everyone knows that the best part about the holidays is [family, of course... but a pretty close second would be] food!
and boy did we eat.
Ian's Pizza Night, a Milwaukee favorite that we brought home. where we converted everyone to it's goodness.

Making Christmas cookies. Jane was very helpful.
and my personal favorite, on Christmas morning Dallas tried to eat only gummy bears for breakfast. His parents were pushing for pancakes. They compromised with this:
although I'm 90% sure the pancakes weren't touched. clever boy.
