I am a genius

Anyone who has eaten a round cake I have made (which I'm pretty sure is limited to the Evanson's multiple times) knows that I fail at making round cakes. Every time the cake falls apart coming out of the pan and Scott needs to come to the rescue. This results in a cake that is half cake and half frosting from being repaired so many times. It's awesome.
Anyhow, this time around my cakes turned out PERFECT. I was thrilled! So I put it on my cake stand and started frosting. I kept doing the sides over and over and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't get smooth. Well after doing the edges about three or four times I figured out that I had left the salt container on the other side of the cake, so every time I turned the cake it rubbed the frosting off onto the salt container.
