The first two weeks...

Life lately: [in reverse order because I am far from being tech-savvy]
Scott with his baby girl.
Janie is still trying to figure out the whole putting-each-limb-in-it's-proper-slot thing.
I walked in on her nap and saw she was being very reverent.
A shot for Hanna titled "Jumble of Baby Limbs"
Janie wasn't so amused by my amusement with her dressing troubles.
But she got over it.
My mom came to visit. Three generations of Leone.
Jane started tummy time. I know she looks distraught here but she is actually amazingly good at it and has even started to inch worm. I am not ready for her to inch worm so we have cut back on tummy time.
One day while my mom was visiting I was looking everywhere for Jane. She wasn't anywhere. I finally located her inside of this:

Looks safe, no? Apparently my mom thought Jane was cold so she put an extra blanket on her followed by another blanket and another. Then she topped it off with a couple of burp cloths on her head. We are still investigating this incident.
Jane especially likes sleeping with her mama.
Jane enjoyed her time with grandma who was always up for snuggles.
Family photo.
Jane frequently gets the stare-sies.
This is how Scott studies now. Mega-desk, headphones, and Jane.
We miss Grandma Janet every day.
I had to document that at one point my tiny baby (shown here weighing 6 lb 6 oz) fit completely inside of her boppy.
Jane also got her first bath. She obviously loved it.
We sure love our little Janie-girl.

  1. I think it might be the pregnancy hormones but I started to cry when I was looking at these pictures. She's beautiful Sarah! Congrats!
