Our Funny Little Jane...

You may remember the mass of hair little miss Jane was born with. Shown here is how it has been up until this point:
generally it falls relatively flat. Well... lots sticks up in the back, but the top is usually flat giving her a somewhat normal appearance.

Typically when Jane gets bathed I do her body and Scott does her hair. He is very careful about washing it, drying it, and brushing it. The other day I was in charge of giving Jane a bath on her own. Apparently I didn't realize just how technical the process of doing her hair is. I didn't brush it right after pulling her out of the bath and this was the result: [note: this is after we brushed it to try to help the situation]

I thought it was pretty great, but when Scott saw her he said, "What did you do to my BABY?!" It was pretty hilarious. Anyhow...
The next day Janie blew out, meaning that she was due for another bath. I was determined to get it right this time. So I brushed her hair after it had only partially dried (last time it was completely dry). Apparently that isn't the way to do it either, it turned out looking like Jimmy Neutron.


*sigh* Scott... you are going to need to come back to bath time.

In other news... Janie thinks that her ability to lift her head during tummy time depends completely on how high her legs are lifted.
