Recently...

In couple of days a whole slough of things-I-needed-to-blog-about-but-never-did updates will begin. So I first wanted to tell you what we have been up to the last week or so rather than what we did in December when I was slacking in glorious California sun.
It's super exciting here.
We spend our time doing things liken balancing puzzle pieces on me (Scott wanted to document his efforts-- I'm not going to lie, it was pretty impressive).
sleeping. lots and lots of sleeping. Jane has had a slight fever the last few days (99), and I have had a low fever (100) and Scott has a nasty cough. It's the perfect excuse for excessive snuggling and a cookie-only diet.

Poor Jane has had to be transported inside of a [practically] sleeping bag. Sorry, girlie, it's single digits here.
We skyped Grandpa and Grandma Imy
and Jane keeps growing up. We moved her to her [sort-of] big girl bed. Basically it's just not her tiny bassinet. But as a mama I interpret it something like "I'm all grown up and don't need my mama two feet away anymore." Well baby girl, your mama does need you two feet away so can you please stop growing up?
Speaking of growing up, our little girl rocking her bumbo's world. Look at those cheeks! She has moved up to the 24th percentile for weight (she was born in the 15th). But don't be fooled, she looks much more chubby here than she truly is. Her teeny body tends to slump in her bumbo because she doesn't have enough meat to fill it up.
