If not, you have likely never met Janie or you simply don't read the words of our blog and simply skip to pictures of the little miss. It's alright, I don't blame you. In fact I have probably done it on your blog, too...
anyhow:
When babies hit about Jane's age their hair typically gets a bald spot from rubbing against blankets and things when they sleep. Jane's hair, because of it's length, instead has formed a single dreadlock.
It cracks us up. so much that we have seriously considered purchasing a bead to put on the end.
However yesterday after her bath it folded over on itself creating a nasty matted hair blob. It essentially looked like a dead fly was caught in the chaos of our child's hair.
Today we cut it off. Scott got all sentimental. "It's her first hair cut!"
But truly all we cut was her dread. So it was her first (and hopefully her last) "dread-cut".
Oh Janie. While it lasted, Seattle was so proud!
