Oh my goodness! I hate it when people do that! When the lactation specialist came to my hospital room after having Naomi she kept calling her "him" and "he" even though there was pink EVERYWHERE. Even balloons announcing "It's a girl!" I really don't understand some people. Janie is THE girliest boy.

I had someone chase me across the Costco parking lot once to tell me that she had seen me in the store and was dying to tell me that Bridger is the most beautiful little girl she has ever seen in her whole life. She didn't get a chance to catch up to me in the store so she came running out in the parking lot to tell me. She went to such a huge effort to compliment my child that I couldn't break it to her that he was a boy. I can't remember what he was wearing, but since I'm the only girl in the house, I'm pretty sure that ALL of the kids clothes are VERY boyish.
