Sweater-Free!

Yesterday was the first day of the year that we were able to go outside without sweaters! It was amazing. I had a crazy intense migraine but refused to take my meds because I had every intention of driving and enjoying the sun. Stubborn, I know. But it allowed us to enjoy the gorgeous 65 degree weather at the zoo with our friends instead of inside watching movies with me lying on the couch. Thank goodness for coke.

This is the love of Jane's life, Elise. Elise lives downstairs and they are the BEST of friends. It is adorable, Jane thinks they are sisters and is upset anytime they aren't playing. Luckily for me, her mom is awesome so we hang out daily. Win-win.

Of course there were exotic animals but the girls mostly wanted to spend time looking at fish, throwing sticks, and chasing ducks. Plus the lake had melted so it was much prettier to look at than last time.

Another bonus of having the Pugh's next door, they are having a baby boy only a few months ahead of us! (Emily is end of May, I am beginning of August).

Jane is such a girly girl. She loves these pearls I bought for her Easter basket and has been wearing them lately. She wore them to church (because I accidentally broke her tiara on the way out the door which was her original accessory of choice) and now wants to wear them every day. Ironically she was watching the garbage truck during these shots... another love of hers is trucks, but only because she knows Dad drives a truck so they must all be magical.

She also is really big on belly buttons. Probably because she has such an impressive little outie and mine is on a baby belly (and currently an outie) so they are far more exciting than the average innie.
