For friends: You are welcome to look at all of the photos, but I completely understand that lots of grainy and blurry and you just want to see the actual baby when it comes out. For this reason this post can be abridged by reading only the first three points.
For family: you are invited to view to unabridged version with all of the tiny things that we can't contain our excitement over. Such as the fact that our child has 5 fingers on each hand.
1. Our baby is perfect and healthy in every way!
2. There is indeed a baby in there and she is gorgeous.

3. She is a she! It's a girl. We were completely shocked, I was convinced it was a boy. But after making the doctor check three different times, I have accepted that we are having a beautiful baby girl and I am beside myself with happiness.
4. Heartbeat is perfect. 150 BPM, heart has all four ventricles, everything is as it should be.
5. The classic alien baby face. Also, our baby has arms.
6. Our baby has a spine, and legs and a head! [and arms, which cannot be seen in this photo]
7. Our baby has hands with five fingers on each.
8. A fist!
9. We are in love.
Our little girl certainly is trouble. During the ultrasound every time the doctor would say, "okay, now we are going to look at the ______ [insert arms, face, belly, legs, etc]" Our baby would hide that specific part. Seriously. Right after the doctor would announce it, she would suddenly shift so that we could not see it. And apparently it's not just our doctor, as soon as I said "oh! I saw her little nose! can we go back?" Our little girl moved her hands from by her side and literally grabbed her nose so that we couldn't see it. It was hilarious. So now I am pretty concerned. If she causes this much trouble in the womb, can you only imagine what she is going to do when she gets out? Although I wouldn't expect any less from our baby. We do like mischief in our house, and when two sneaky people have a baby... danger.
And one final story from our ultrasound:
ODE TO GRANDPA BUZZ
The first time we saw her face the doctor said, "oh... her arm is covering it. And her fingers are out?" I am not even kidding, our little girl was making the loser "L" over her forehead the first time we saw her face. We tried to get a picture but I was laughing so hard the doctor didn't get one in time. Our doctor was impressed with our little girl's finger coordination, but we knew that Grandpa Buzz was up in heaven with her teaching her all sorts of tricks.
Congratulations! I am so happy for you two- and that you are having a girl! Something our family has yet to do! I am glad that you are enjoying pregnancy so much :) You will truly appreciate your body once your baby is born. It is an amazing miracle!
