One woke up very, very early to study for his Human Sexuality Exam (a totally legit psychiatric exam. the joy of med school— at least he didn't have his practical pelvic exam tonight like some of his classmates... )
My other Valentine was celebrating for her VERY FIRST TIME!
So naturally she slept through most of it. Just like every other major holiday in her lifetime (except halloween, which she spent being squeezed through a very tiny... doorway.)
She actually slept until 10:30!
A whopping 12.5 hours. straight. that's nuts.
I didn't know what to do. I got eight hours of sleep. I ate breakfast. I worked out. I put in laundry. I watched the bachelor (quality— I know), and I ironed a bazillion dress shirts for Scott's Valentines day present. (so romantic)
it was awesome. except I missed her.
Scott knows that the fastest way to my heart is [lava cakes, but this is a close second] PEPPERONI PIZZA. (I realize that capital letters are appearing in large quantities, but today was an excellent day. (did you see that? how I'm branching out with the italics there?)

That is seriously delicious pepperoni pizza. I had never had Pizza Hut until this semester and Phil brought it home for breakfast! yum...
