It was good grandma time (seeing as her mom is still too scared to bath a slippery baby out of a sling in a baby bath...)
Just showing off how impressively chubby my little girl has gotten. Also note that she sports an outie belly button.
Jane's favorite place in the whole Brunson house was in her high chair.
She thought it was awesome.
There was a lot of curiousity about the dog (a boxer named Ruby).
Jane liked watching Ruby but wasn't so fond of actually touching/licking her.

Janie changed so much in the short two weeks we were in California!
She went from just starting to grab things well to being able to make a
mess like this:

Somewhere along the mess-making journey Jane pulled out paper and a
pen and made drawing motions. I got very excited thinking, "yes! It's
finally time for her to color!" So I pulled the cap off of the pen and
showed her how to write her name.
but while I was expecting something beautiful like this:
I got this instead.
