The promised "baby bump" shot (taken Sunday):

Jane, of course, was trying to steal the spotlight, and who could blame her? Look at that cute little mug!

So I let her hop in the shot.

Late Sunday, Hanna flew in!

It was just for a quick visit, but I was SO GLAD to see her. We crammed as much Hanna/Sarah time as we could in a few days and I think we did a pretty good job making the most of it.

Jane met Hanna when she woke up Monday morning and very quickly fell in love. It was actually really impressive, Jane doesn't easily warm up to people, but she couldn't get enough of Hanna, every time I turned around Jane was trying to crawl into Hanna's lap.

I know these next pictures aren't the best lighting, but I couldn't resist showing how much Jane adored Hanna.

Jane even decided naps were fun if Hanna was involved.

Well.. until she decided playing was more fun and woke Hanna up by planting a big raspberry on her neck.

We miss you, Hanna! Have fun on your adventures in Finland/Europeland, come
I accidentally left the peanut butter out the other day and Jane immediately started begging for some. I put some on her high chair with some apples and Jane thought she was in heaven. I'm not sure why I hadn't thought of it before!

I left the room for a moment and came back to find this:

Sneaky little thing! But she sure was cute.

Today is my BIRTHDAY! It's been great so far, Jane was kind and slept through the night and even slept in so that I could shower and enjoy the breakfast Scott lovingly made for me! Peanut gave me the gift of a migraine, but I like to think that Peanut was just trying to give me an excuse to drink coke for breakfast-- the baby knows how much I love that.
Today I'm off to celebrate my birthday right with some cookie dough and gummy worms, courtesy of one of my absolute favorite people, Emily [secretly Bush] Christiansen :)
