Dear 1/3 of the SFL Department,
I realize that I am taking 15 credits with you and 3 with my friends in the biology department, but I keep waking up and feeling like death. It's no fun. As much as I have enjoyed [most of] my classes, I absolutely cannot wait for the semester to end.
Dear Husband,
Thank you for loving me always. Even when I keep you awake at night because I like to talk to you. It's not my fault you're my best friend-- you're just wonderful and I can't get enough of you. Thank you for not leaving me at the duck pond when I complain the whole way to school. But you've got to admit, it was indeed very cold, my stomach really did hurt, but please take into account that usually I am crawling out of bed at that time.
Dear Kindergarten,
Thank you for reminding me of how wonderful 5 1/2 year olds are. Especially Josh, who was nice enough to try to catch the water I spilled so that I wouldn't notice.
Dear Katie,
I miss you. Actually I miss you A LOT. I miss shoving pillows up mom's old prom dresses and pretending we're prego.
Dear Milwaukee/Wauwatosa,
I am excited to have FIVE WINDOWS. I am excited to have a bigger kitchen and to fill my house with Ikea furniture. I am excited to eventually stay up in my living room all night with a tiny infant (long way off). I am not excited to see my husband for only a few minute each night after he comes home from studying and working hard, but I will do it happily because it is important to him and I know he is doing it for our family. He always works hard, I appreciate that. But Milwaukee, we're going to let you warm up a little first, okay? We'll see you in July.
